Never had to do that.
In Home Ec. in Grade 9, we had one of those Electronic Babies that the whole class was supposed to take care of. It would sit in the front of the class and when it cried, someone was supposed to go and take care of it (or something like that). One person did, and then the teacher gave up, so I don't remember a lot of what we were 'supposed' to do.
I know that in Grade 10 or 11 (I'm thinking it's 11), that one of the Family Studies classes or Child Care classes (never took either, so I have no idea what class it was) had to take an electronic baby home for the weekend or so. But I don't think that anyone had to couple up or anything. And it's an elective, so it wasn't a mandatory class.
Thank goodness I never had to do anything like that.
no we had it that we had these babies and they were so LIFE like
they would cry and it would record if u made it stop [feeding,burping,changing,etc] it would cry in the middle of the night and do everything to make sure u dont get pregnant =]
i did that and i got to choose my partner and it was cool because my partner was actually my boyfriend.
In 7th grade, I think it was 7th, we had to carry around eggs for children! Yes eggs, and we could let them get broke or cracked, and we painted them in class and the teacher took pics to make sure we didnt cheat! Yeah, it really sucked because the partner I had didnt even make in 2 hours without cracking our baby! Then in 9th we had the actual babies... those really suck when they really cry at 4am...
