Legally moving out for school.?

Question:I'm seventeen and I won't be 18 by the time I graduate and I'm planning on moving out for college. The option of living with my parents and going to school the same time until my birthday doesn't work out well because I'd need someone to drive me to school constantly. Since I don't turn 18 before then, what other options besides talking it out with my parents [they're quite stubborn] and being admitted the next semester are there?

Answers:
Are you talking about going to college at 17 or wanting out now at high school?
If college, see what your parents say about living in a dorm ... after all, that IS part of the college experience. And if you don't need to live at home, it's the way to go.
If high school, I'm pretty much afraid you're stuck.
A total last ditch thing if you feel you really HAVE to get out of your house, you can apply for emancipation. But that's a pretty nasty procedure and if you have a good relationship with your parents DON'T do it!
