Don't worry about it, 8Th grade is great fun, people stop judging some things that could've been a pain in previous years,
and about making friends and all that jazz, chances are one of your teachers will have assigned seating, and that's a really easy way to make friends, it might not happen on the first day, but unless there a terrible person its not hard to become friends with them, and in the classes with no assigned seating, try to get there early and sit somewhere in the middle, and even if you don't have a friend in the class make sure you give everyone the right impression, including the teacher (hence the early part).
as for lunch, you can make friends in a lunch line, and you can also sit with some acquaintances maybe you will find something in common with them and become great friends.
hope i helped some.
Meet new people. It's easier than it seems, trust me.
its just like seventh grade.divide your time.have fun, have friends who have similar interests as you..before..freshmen comes!
Hey,
I am dealing with a similar situation. I, as well, am going into 8th grade and understand your problem. I got my school schedule and so far, I know of two people that will be in my classes that I actually know. Of my best friends two of them are in one of my classes, and three other are in none of them. Just try to make some new friends and talk to your friends between classes, before and after school, and lunch if you have it together. I hope this helps.
