you need to study before test- like the day before, not during lunch the day of the test.
you need to work really hard on projects and dont procrastinate!
you need to take good notes while the teacher is explaining things, especially in math.
and just have a positive attitude and try to stay organized by labelling your binders, keeping folders for different subjects. What really helped me was writting down homework assignments in an agenda book and having a separate little homework binder that I took to each class with me.

Get a jump start on every thing. Make sure that you finish work before you turn it in and get a jump start on those book reportes and other long term project.
my principal says you need to do 3 things
1 Get there
2 Stay out of his office (Behave)
3 Listen to your teachers
Don't goof off, always listen to the teacher, be nice to the teacher, if you do bad on a home work assignment ask the teacher if you can redo it some teachers will actually let you do that, study before a big test, and of course do your best.
make sure u pay a lot of attention to what the teachers say,
ask questions
dont get caught up in being popular and stupid stuff like that
get involved with the school
do your homework
and you will be FINE!
