my god im just like you. math is my downfall. like, i know basic math, but if you try to ask me to multipy 47 by 53 without a calculator, im screwed. i havent completled college either (dispite all my best efforts, tutoring, studying like all holy hell, i failed the math class i needed to take for the credit, and now i cant get a loan)...so im kind of lost on what to do. so im taking a look at my strengths, and seeing what i can do without any sort of degree. i like fashion, and i know how to read a pattern and sew, so im considering a fashion line. loads of people have told me i come up with great wedding ideas, and therefore they think i should be a wedding planner. and, believe it or not, i know how to work the kinds of lights and soundboards they use in concerts, so i am also looking at trying to get a job as an in house technician at a concert hall near me (i know that sounds like something you would need math for, or some kind of schooling, but i talked to a sound guy at one of the shows, and he said "they needed a sound guy, so i learned as i went", so i know it can be done.) sit down and take a look at what you are good at. im awsome at english too, but nothing i really want to do involves english either. if you do want to pursue english as a career, one of my aunts actually makes a really decent living writing instruction manuels for stuff, and it only took her a few classes at a night school. or you could always try writing. journalism might be good, i know plenty of people who have gotten into journalism without a degree. there are loads of jobs out there. try doing a little search online, for careers involving english, and see what you come up with. you may find jobs youve never heard of, but then you read what its all about and find its perfect for you!
Study law (go to law school). Most lawyers are terrible at math. Trust me I am and so are most of the lawyers I know, lol!
