Emotional writing?

Question:I'm writing a piece on my childhood for school.
I want it to really trigger my teachers emotions.
Anyone got any tips?

Answers:
Write about something that really affected YOU emotionally, and write it honestly, and that will affect them.
write in the present tense. It makes writing feel more real.
You have to write like your just speaking, or thingking. Dont think of this as if its meant for school, just imagine its describing you.
