1. make flashcards for vocab.yes it takes time, but it works. keep the cards to review even after that chapters test is over.
2. after finishing each assignment, read it aloud. it helps with pronunciation and is a good review and self-check
3. as soon as you get confused or lost in class, work extra hard to get caught up RIGHT AWAY. ask your teacher for help and study in the evenings.
