I'm going to be a sophmore too, and i got a binder for most of my classes, a lot of pens/mechanical pencils, some white out, lots of loose leaf paper (it's only 30 cents at walmart per pack) and a notebook for the classes i didn't get a binder for.

Then you will get a syllabus and it should tell you what you need.
well, actually, i normally dont take anything the first day (,or second if you have a/b schedule), and i just wait unitl i get a list of what i NEED. It's pointless to buy stuff you don't need and even more pointless to buy stuff you don't need then buy more stuff that you do need.
you should just wait, because chances are, your going to need to get something you didn't get before.
