also, what do u need to bring?. i got a letter in the mail but all it said was the date(the 29th) when school starts(the 4th) and waht time orientation was (9-12)
so can someone tell me what i should expect for those 3 hours?

Don't bring anything! You'll look too prepared, too freshman. Just show up with your friends and try to remember everything.
no you arent going to have work. you might want to bring a piece of paper and a pen but leave that up to youre parent. you dont need to do work.
Just take some paper and something to write with, but if your freshman orientation is anything like mine was, then your parents will be the ones trying to remember everything, not you. Don't sweat it, try not to become bored, and try to pay attention. :)
Usually orientation is just the principal talking to your parents about how great their school is run, and wanting them to be in PTA/PTSA.
They will most likely be giving you your schedules... (GRR my school isn't doing that this year it's such a rip) and having you pay fees and turning in forms and such. You might, MIGHT get to meet a teacher or two.
