Well, i'd say the most needed thing would be a scientific calculator. Texas Instrument is a good brand. Of course, a standard ruler. Maybe a protractor and a compass. Make sure you have a good stack of paper. Paper goes by fast especially in math class - binder paper and graph paper. Colored highlighters and/or pencils may come in handy every now and then, but i wouldnt say it's a necessity.
