i agree cuz studies have shown that people without sex education are more likely to commit sexual acts than those with sex education. I think it's because of the curiosity or something.
oh well, i disagree with those who disagreed about this cuz when people come online to search bout these kind of stuff, they're exposed to certain things that aren't appropriate, if you know what i mean.

High schools, I agree (it's better to here it from a responsible source other than the parents, for a teen it could be embarrassing), but not for elementary, they're too young...
I think it is a great idea,sex is a subject avoided to often when it is now so important.
Why not.? Some people think it a taboo to talk about sex. So of course kids being kids they will try and find out for themselves. Just because some are uncomfortable about it doesn't mean that the issue will go away. So figure it best to at least teach the kids a basic understanding, They have the questions in their minds already, may as well answer them.
I think kids have a lot of questions about this topic. If they are not taught the truth about it, they get false information from their kid friends.
When I coached teen girls in sports, I would often hear what they thought in their side conversations. There were comments like, "Oh, you can't get pregnant your first time." or "We're all the same age right, we won't get a sexually transmitted disease because we all haven't done it before."
Kids take the risk of teenage sex because they have these beliefs they pass around to each other that tells them they are being safe.
Besides, it is everyone's right to know how their own bodies work.
For me, not just in phillippines but in every part of civilised world, it makes the youth and also children to know exactly what these things are and also make them realise when they are endandering themselves, They also learn a lot from it and how to take care of themselves. so I AGREE
