"lol"
that's what i think.
however, i know some people who lost a whole lot of weight from DDR. i knew a guy who lost 40 lbs from DDR. he used to be such a fatty but he's pretty cute now.
it's pretty embarassing if you're a beginner at DDR in public though.
Well, it would cause to much conflict as how many people at once could do it, and to get plenty of them would require some financial support. Also, no one would go to regular gym class if they could just play DDR.
DDR? What's that?
I think that, as much as I love DDR myself, it's pointless to have as an actual gym activity. Think about it this way, how much exercise do you really get playing on light or standard? Pretty much none.
It takes a while to get to being a heavy player and thats really the only time you're exerting yourself physically. Now, everybody can run laps, play sports, or do some other such activity. You don't need to work your way up to that kind of stuff.
DDR can be a great workout, but you wont be seating bullets playing butterfly on beginner. It just doesnt seem cost effective, efficiant, or an overall good idea to me.
I think if it gets the 200 lb 9 year old moving, it's good. I would also support lashings for not running fast enough. They need to punish destructive behavior.
I'm all for DDR, believe me if you're out of shape a 3-song set on DDR will get to you. It's a way to make exercise fun for kids.
