Don't worry about it. All you really have to do to pass is show up, get dressed and participate. You don't have to be good, you just have to try. Most of the kids in gym aren't very athletic either. Also be respectful to the gym teacher. A lot of kids get in trouble for not listening to them or being disrespectful which can make gym class aweful! You may have to run a mile or something, but that'll be at the end of the semester and if you do well on other parts of the exam ( if you have an exam) the running part won't be too big for your grade. Just try you're best and you'll pass.
There are a lot of other kids that arent physical or athletic in gym too. I wouldn't worry about it, I don't think you'll be the only one!!
Dont worry :] J-Hi P.E. is really easy. and everyone else feels the same way as you do. Just watch. :]
Just do your best. the gym teachers dont grade you on how well you do but how hard you try. If you show them you are trying you will get a good grade. Gym Teachers look for effort the most. so just do your best and you will do fine!
Body image is a big thing in both junior high and high school. I think what you need to remember is that there are a lot of people who do not have athletic physical assets at your age - yet your concerns are valid. Try to be confident in yourself as you are. Be a good person. Don't make fun of others and maybe you will find that others won't make fun of you. If they do, consider the source because intimidating someone smaller than you means this person is just a bully. And by belittling you, they think it makes them look better -- but you know it just makes them look stupid. Try not to worry about it - 10 years from now it won't really matter. Rise above the heap and don't let it bother you.
Believe it or not, your P.E. class will help you build a positive self-image and you'll feel better about yourself. Every time you participant, you are improving your health and fitness level. Have fun!!
i am the same too. i like to run sorta, but only when i am not forced to and having fun.
with my P.E., they told us they would take it slow...and not make a person run laps the first day.
oh that doesn't matter, honestly. gym teachers aren't permitted to grade you down if you suck at it (good thing cause i'm unbelievably uncoordinated... a great runner though). P.E. is the last class you should be worried about lol!!
