I say if English is what your calling is then you shouldn't be worried! I was in English 9A my freshman year, which is the more advanced English class at my school. The homework was hard, and there was a lot of it, but since I knew I was capable, I didn't worry as much. I nearly always got A's on my tests.
If you know that you're good at English, and you're okay with your capabilities and what you know you can do, you should be fine!! Have faith in yourself and you should be able to hold your head high and say 'Hell yeah I'm good!!'
