I know exactly what you mean.. I had a teacher who talked and talked and talked without stopping. My eyelids felt so heavy, I had to close them for a minute before opening them again.

yea well i mean its there job to teach us things but when they take along time talking about it ..its just plain boring ! and when they just call on you if your not paying attention..sometimes you dont pay attention cause its way too boring but if you have friends in your class then just talk to them like me

You are not in school to rate your teachers. They are in school to rate you. If you are bored in a class, tell the teachers that you need to be challenged more. I am sure he or she can always use an assistant during the year.

Some of my teachers have done that too. They get off track and start giving us retarded life lessons and they start talking about how they need to get payed more or how teachers should have more breaks so that we could go complain to the superintendent so they could get what they want but don't entirely deserve.

lol it seems that most teachers just like to hear themselves talk. I understand that some do a great job of explaining their points and giving examples, but from my experiences in highschool and in college, i have had MANY teachers who talk about totally irrelevent things and just dont stop. Its annoying and makes the student want to skip class.(which happens quite often)
I know right, espeically when it's in a subject you just hate with a passion. Those classes seem to have the most BORING teachers ever. Gah, school is so lame.
I love school. Where would we be without it? It's interesting to me, I can see my friends, and I will be able to get a good career with it. But don't get me wrong, I never said its not boring! And I still think we should get a three day weekend. :)
god yes, the only good periods are lunch and maybe art/computers/home ec depending on teachers
