I'm a rising high school sophomore, and I would have to say that although freshmen year was pretty hectic for me because of the immense work load cause I'm in all honors classes.. the best thing about it was the knowledge I acquired..i know that sounds a bit cheezie but its true.. also the transition from middle school to high school is a big transition.. in middle school I had time to decorate my locker, go out with friends and I had a ton of time for fun and games but if you want to succeed in high school, you won't have too much time for those things.. I also loved the degree of maturity and professional teachers in high school.. hope you have a fabulous freshmen year!
The best thing about my freshman year was that I got to have a fresh start for the most part and I met some pretty cool people. Well, I'm still in high school but so far the best thing about these years are that I finally made some really good friends that I could trust with my life, I got less bitchy, and learned a few life lessons.
The best thing about high school and college is being in a group of people your own age. It's the eight year window in which you are most likely to meet your future spouse.
