Will the school let me in? (please read school starts TOMORROW!)?

Question:ok well when i signed up for school they told me that i was missing a tetness shot and a blood test. i clarly remember taking them when i was 8 or 9 but apparently the docter didnt cuz it wasnt marked down on the immunization record. i am terrified of shots so i tried to avoid it as much as possible, but my mom remembered and set an appointment up for me. but then we forgot to come. now school is starting tommorow (middle school) and im worried that they will tell me i cant come in because i dont have the shots. will they do that? please help!
also, where can i get these shots today if i cant go to the school? and how can i make it not hurt as much?

Answers:
OK CALM DOWN! I'm entering middle school too and I had to take my 6th grade shots. We are in the same path here. I remembered that I had taken the shots when I was younger but the doctor didn't write in the card either. but i was sooooooo scared of taking the shots but when I took the shots they didn't hurt at all. But the school will let u go cause I was late to bring in the papers that said I took the shots and they let me go. Just tell your mom to make another appointment and just explain to the school what happened. I'm sure they'll understand. Good Luck! PS if u have a myspace add me mines is www.myspace.com/mbizpretty
hi well i dont now i think they will let you in
good luck to you to i live in miami
heres a star
I'm pretty sure that they'll let you in for the first day. Eventually, however, they will need for you to get the shot--and if they need to, they won't let you back in to the school until you have.

Don't stress about the shot too much. It's proven that it hurts less if you're relaxed--something about the muscles. If you're nervous, they're tight, and the needle will hurt more. But if you're relaxed, the muscles will be relaxed, and the needle won't hurt nearly as much. Also, try distracting yourself during the shot itself. Talk to your Mom, sing a song to yourself, make up a funny story, relive a moment from a favorite tv show or movie. Distract yourself and it won't hurt as much. You can do it! :o)
In most cases you will not be admitted until you produce the evidence of taking th shots.

Try calling some different doctors and see how quickly they can give you the required shots. There are also walk in clinics that may be able to help you. Walmart has some, but I go not know if they have any in your area.

Ask the person who gives you the shots to use a small needle, They will oblige if possible.

Good luck and in any case school is not too far away.
you just answered one of my questions so i am returning the favor. i just asked my aunt about it and she said that the ymight make you go home untill you get your shots because you might have a spreadable disease that you need vacines for. but that is just what my aunt thinks.but i think that they will let you in but the yprobabkly will like make yo uget them this weekend or something.
I am not positive, however I do believe that they will let you register and start but require the needed immunization documentation within a week or so.
You can go to your local health department to get the test done and probably will not cost you. Just try to relax and it won't hurt near as much...Good Luck !!
