Here's my answer to a similar question that was asked:
Much more work than middle school. Once you fall behind... your pretty much behind for the rest of the school year... unless you work your freekin a*s off to catch up.. late work isn't accepted as much as middle school. You'll notice that freshmans are the only ones running around in the hallways. [i'm not saying that just to hate on freshmans. i noticed that in my freshman year.] There weren't any specific cliques in my school. so can't help you with that. Don't fall into peer pressure... sure you may say that it's never going to get to you... but you really start to feel it. Nobody's going to babysit you. Teacher's wont remind you that your project is due tomorrow. Basically.. you have to be more independent. If you wanna act like a child.. go ahead. you're just going to make a fool out of yourself. High school is when you start figuring out who your real friends are. Don't be surprised when some friends you had in middle school fall into a different crowd. Make the best out of high school - especially freshman year. Time flys by faaaasssttt so have as much fun as you can. Sophomore, Junior, and Senior year is all about work and graduation. If a friend stabs you in the back.. forget about it and move on. Don't waste your time on things like that. Oh yeah and watch out for Freshman Friday, especially since your a guy. If anybody asks if your a freshman... lie.
JUST BE URSELF! YOU'LL MAKE IT I PROMISE!
