Question:As I said, Friday was my deadline to transfer into different classes. I'm a freshmen so I don't know how it works. I'm going to Germany next summer but I just realized yesterday that I'm taking Spanish next semester, not German. (I didn't know I was going to Germany until two weeks ago, and I picked classes in the spring.) So, will I have another chance to transfer come second semester or am I just screwed?
It's just a semester long class, btw.

That all depends on the rules of your particular school.
But, if you go and explain your situation to your counselor about going to Germany he or she may be more than willing to work with your -- perhaps even putting you into German sooner!
Don't worry, they realize Freshmen don't know everything! And, enjoy Germany! I lived there for several years, hosted 3 German exchange students and was just back last month for another visit!
