First try to let your dad know that hes stressing you out and you really are trying. Try not to worry too much about impressing your dad, set some personal goals. Then just make sure to study, take notes, and do your homework. If you are having trouble in a class ask the teacher to help you out before or after school. You can even ask your dad to help you study for tests or help you with your homework, it will help him realize that you're trying. Most of all though, just talk to him and let him know your goals. Let him know that you'll be happy to get a personal best in a class, or a report card with 3 B's and the rest A's, but that yes you'll try to do even better and get straight A's. That way he'll be on the same page as you, realize hes stressing you out, and be able to congratulate you when you meet a personal goal. I'm sure your dad will understand, best of luck
I'm sorry your dad is putting this kind of pressure on you. For me I think that being a well rounded person is more important. If it's important to you that you can get all A's then I would say that you need to work with your teachers. Ask their advice often on how they want a project done and/or how to study for their tests. Pace yourself when you have a long assignment meaning map it out as to how much you need to complete each day to be finished early. It's not a bad thing to be focused on your grades but do it for yourself not for your dad.
