guess what? i have a very good news for you!
colleges DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR FRESHMEN GRADES! yeah!! not kidding... i saw this on the news and this girl who got a GPA of 2.8 in her freshmen year and got an at least GPA of 4.0 in her sophomore, junior and senior year got into every Ivy League Universities. she ended up going to Princeton. So don't even worry about your freshmen year grades... What you do need to do now is focus on the classes that you're taking. Sophomore and Junior years are the most important years in high school so i would keep my eyes open. Ask your teachers about giving you extra credit if your grades aren't where they're supposed to be. Pay attention in class and it'll help you in the next test that you're taking. If your teacher is writing down or saying something really important that will be on the test, WRITE IT DOWN AND MEMORIZE!! hope this will help! good luck!
I can tell you that geometry was a lot harder for me than algebra 2 is... I think if you come home and dedicate a good amount of time to your studies that you will do a lot better in school.. dont just wait till the last minute for anything
Whatever subject, you just need to study whenyou have extra time in school which also provides more free time after school and as much as possible the morning before a test. That doesn't mean none the days before but when you ALSO study the morning before a test or exam then its fresh in you mind and was the first thing you remember in the morning!
