Reading Comp. is somewhat an easy thing to overcome.
In many cases it is as easy as going to a quiet and relaxing place with no interruption and that entails but not limited to music, television, friends, family and busy places, but doesn't mean you have to lock yourself away either.
Myself having this problem I start out by reading a couple of paragraphs, then I will go back and reread it and or make some small obvious notes of the idea of the paragraph, then go back and ask myself what I just read and by this time you should have followed along and conceptualized what is going on.
I also like to place myself in what I am reading as well, this way becoming part of the story I have not only followed along, but overall the comprehension is 100%, try it out, and above all practice this and will make for a better way to understand what you have read but placed yourself in the story or article.
