Is 30 mins less sleep a big deal when it comes to a sophomore year?

Question:I'm a student in high school going into his sophomore year. I just wanted to know when I have an AP history class and Alg.2trig, and other normal classes, whether a 30 min loss of sleep would be a big deal. personally I think so, but I'm not sure. What do you think?

Answers:
At the beginning of the year 30 minutes wont matter much, but as the year goes on, it'll be difficult, you'll be needing those 30 minutes. So my answer is yes, it is a big deal to lose those 30 minutes.
Keep your 30 mins of sleep, dont lose it.
Yes even five minutes of sleep can make a considerable difference in how you take on the day...
I personally think it depends on your ~quality~ of sleep. If you're getting 8 hours of tossing and turning, 7 hours of a deep sleep sounds better.

I wouldn't let a 1/2 hour loss get to me. As long as it wasn't on a regular basis.

:)
Yes, in college all of the instructors tell you to prep a bit everyday and get a good night sleep the night before an exam. It really works. A tired mind is a foggy mind which tends to forget things easily. 30 minutes could make the difference between an A and a B
No, but try to get extra sleep on weekends or whenever else you can. I learned to sleep a lot less during my junior year, and it didn't really make a difference. I just got used to it after awhile.
