Get a thesaurus. Excellent word choices when all you can come up are the dull, doldrum, blassiez, mundane and otherwise "just plain boring". :) 2 good resources are the Holt Handbook or Writers Inc. for language arts-grammar, spelling, punctuation, essay writing, etc. They may be outdated in schools, but check for them on Amazon.com-they have everything! :)
