my school says just bring paper and a pencil and they will tell you what to bring on the first day (i am a ninth grader 2)
get a big notebook with about 6 folders in it. ruler, pens pencils, erasers..get notebook paper college rule should be good. only get one pack incase you need a different type of notebook paper. have a nice time going back to school:)
you just need the basics, pens, pencils, notebooks, folders and paper.when you reach high school you will learn that sometimes teachers prefer certain things from you that you will need to buy so i would just take a notebook and pen or pencils for the first day and they will let you know if they want you to get anything specific and if not then you can always ask them
your school probobly has them listed online- check for it - if not call and say ---this is my first year of high school and i dont know what materials to buy and they should help you, or tell you where to get the list (which should have came in the mail)
