Like most people I have been a bad boy in my youth and some of my adulthood. But I am trying hard now to deal with sexual urges on an abstinence basis. It isn't easy. Having said this I now have come to the belief that sex should be within the confines of a marriage blessed by our Creator-who gave us the gift of sex for procreation. If we could somehow discipline ourselves and keep to this then we would have fewer problems.

Our class was anatomy and not STDs. For me it was pointless because my teacher was HOT! I couldn't focus when he would say "penis" and "vagina" and things like that! I'd be bright red and have to look away.
I think it is pointless, too. At that age, kids watch MTV and VH1 and such, with all that junk on T.V. kids know more than they would ever learn from sex ed class. I believe kids should learn what they want in schools, not what is advised foe their age.
They are just trying to help out teens who are still healthy. Why, won't you want to know how to avoid AIDS?
There're actually a surprising load of people who don't ask questions and you'd never know didn't know the answer to simple questions who rely on sex ed in secondary schools...
But that said, having the same thing repeated at you for years and years and years tends to make you tune it out completely - up to a point where it's cliched and stupid, so it can be pretty self-defeating.
