A recreation leader plans programs for young people at camps, on cruise ships, at resorts, etc. A popular major for recreation leaders is called "Leisure Studies," -- really! Most people who continue in the industry after a few years end up in management rather than working directly with kids. If you want to spend your life working with kids, try education.
