We both took our sons to work day....Our employers set up intro to what mom/dad does all day and then had some freebie give aways, lunch and sitting in with parents in their duties....We are a college prof and a lawyer here...kind of a fun reverse day to see the value of a good education and where it brought us ALL!!
we are doing a work experience placement, for 9 days. we can choose to go anywhere which accepts us. but i am going to work with my mother, as she only works for about 4 hours. What you do depends on where you go. Like if you went to do work experience in a shop you could help serve customers etc. Basically just do whatever the person in charge tells you. Hope that was of some help.
