well if u feel confident enough to go onto the next grade...u should...but if not ..and u feel like u need additional learning...then maybe repeating the 9th wont be so bad...no one will know how old u are unless you tell them.
Hell dude, i repeated 6th grade. Im going to be 16 in October and I start 9th grade in a week.

Move on with your peers. It will feel strange for you to be 16 in a class full of 14 year olds. Imagine this, by the time you graduate, you will be 1 year shy from the legal drinking age.
dont worry about the age, it means nothing. for all u know, as time goes on, u may be able to skip a grade if it is too easy or something

if you go to 10th grade, you would know what they are saying and flunk so its just better if you repeat 9th and you will cruise through the subjects cuz you were already taught... well some of them
usually schools provide placement tests so you are not in the wrong class/grade. ask your teachers if you decide to go to regular school if you could take those tests and maybe be in classes with people around your age.
