You should get a list from your school but some helpful things would be a pocket thesaurus and a pocket dictionary. You school also have an organizer so you can write all your assignments and due dates. Get a lot of black ink pens. Some of your English teachers may complain about papers written in pencil or those really interesting colors. IF you are unsure about a subject like Algebra or Geometry, get one of those Spark Notes cheat sheets to keep in your binder. It might be helpful to have a spiral bound notebook for each subject as well as dividers in a binder for each subjects. These are just some ideas.
well you should get a school list from your school telling you what you need they do where I live
Most schools have lists. Private ones expect you to go to the school a few days before school begins.
You need a pocket portfolio for each class... different color for each class. Paper, pens, pencils. Just have that for the first week. The teachers will tell you what else they want during the first week. Have a great year; give it your best every day.
Yeah, your school will tell you how to think. So please get a list from them.
Well I'm entering grade 8 too and this is the list my school provided me with:
-Plan to purchase a school planner for september (or get one yourself in that case)
-1 pencil case that closes
-Pens (red and blue/ black ink-not metallic or milk pens)
-Pencils HB
-Full Length 30cm ruler-wth mm divisions
-Set of 8 coloured Pencils
-Markers (non-permanet)
-Highlighters
-Glue sticks
-Erasers
-Scissors-blunt
-2" binder
-3 hole lined loose-leaf paper (binder)
-Inexpensive calculator
-Math instrment set
-Doutangs-1 per subject ( I prefer to use binders because they're more durable and resuable...but its up to you)
Also my school requires you to take out any knives because its against policy but i don't know about your schools policy.
Sorry that i couldn't divide them into sections because i'm not sure what classes and stuff you have.
I hope my school list helps you! :)
Good Luck!
