Or hang out with some guys, I love guys, my two bestfriends are guys and we NEVER fight.

Be confident. The older kids are trying to scare you. Go to the first day of classes like you have been going there all your life. The best way to get over worrying is to be confident!
You are making a big deal over nothing. There will be plenty of other kids that don't know where the classes are. If you don't know where a class is, just ask someone, what's the big deal? It's not rocket sicence to open a locker, I think you can handle it. The 8th graders aren't going to attack you! Just be nice and talk to people and you'll have new friends in no time!
Take a deep breath. Lots of people feel the same way you do. My son wouldn't go to his locker for a year, and carried everything in his 40 pound backpack. Just relax and think about what the teacher is saying. Ask someone in the office for help if you need it. The rest will come naturally.

Everyone goes thru this. I don't care what they say everyone is aprehesive their first week of school. Soon everything will become old hat to you and you will look back and say how could I have been worried about it.
Alright... you have to understand that it is no big deal. It'll take you a few days, but you'll get the hang of everything. Chill out.

dont worry. junior high is way fun, you will meet tons of people and make great friends. im worried about high school myself... whole different story. and ask the office if you can have a map of the school if they have one. mark where your classes are, it helps i promise!! if not, ask an SBO or cheerleader or someone where your class is!

It will be fine. Middle school is tough. But you have to remember to be yourself and that the other kids are just like you. We all want to be liked and we like people who are nice to us. Be nice to people. Some people might not be nice to you, but don't take it personally. It is their issue. Just be yourself and you will be fine.
don't worry! i remember the 8th graders doing that to the lower classes, but they never did anything to them! if you can't find your class just ask someone, its better to ask then just stand around looking lost. you'll make friends in no time! just be yourself and have fun!
think positive im in 10th 2nd year of high school but when i first entered middle school...i was scaird alittle and dont worry u may make new friends
awww its ok!! Don't worry about it. just think that its the first day of school and everyone is just as nervous as you are, and yeah it sucks not knowing where your classes are, trust me everyone goes through it. Just ask a teacher if they can show you where your next class is. did your school not give you a map that shows where all the classes are? Thats the only way I knew where my classes were in 6th grade lol. Don't worry, its not as bad as you think. and most of the 8th graders won't have the gutts to do whatever they are talking about. :) Sorry if i didnt help. Trust me, everything will go OK. I was terrified too when I started middle school. I had no friends in any classes either. But the friends I made in middle school are still my closet friends today, not the ones from elementary. Your locker will go fine too. My best advice, go into school looking for new friends. Don't hang your head and look sad because that's when the mean old 8th graders WILL find you as a target. Show everybody the person you are and don't have a panic attack. Everyone is nervous at first. IF you show confidence, who knows, you might end up as a "popular" girl! :)
I was just like you. I was scared of everything you were but guess what happened when i got there, Everything was totally fine. The eighth graders didn't really talk to the younger kids. If anything a sweet smile or hello. I met lots of new friends and now going into my second year of middle school, I know I'll have lots of friends in my classes. One time, I couldn't find the science room. I got nervous. Then I noticed the principal walking by. I asked him and he led me straight there. I had trouble with my locker also. But teachers helped me. Just look on the bright side, there are teachers all around keeping you safe of mean kids and helping you out with friends and your locker and all sorts of other things. I had a great first year and so will you!! :) Hope I could help.
well i try it help you by saying you are not the first and you will not be the last person that will go through this same situation. i would not worry about the eighth graders they are mostly talk. if they do try to start messing with you make it look like you accidental hit them with you book bag and every time they do it again make sure to accidental hit them with you book bag in the same place. when you go to middle school you usually get several elementary school going to the same middle school meaning more people to meet.
First put ur myspace on private so the 8th graders don't send u anymore messages. How did they get ur email? I felt like this last year when I went to 6th grade (my school is from 5th to 8th grade) You'll make friends to make new friends I was more out going than 5th grade.To not get lost every year my mom takes me to my school to see where all of my classes are so I won't get lost.And opening your locker is easy just practice at home with your lock!
I felt the same way when i entered middle school. But what you're thinking of now passes in time and you'll get used to it. What i've learned from the past is that not all 8th graders live up to whatever hype they have. Most of them are just talkers. But that doesn't mean they don't take actions, cause some do. Just try to avoid them in the meanwhile and try making new friends that look as lost as you. Help them out while helping yourself out. If u have trouble opening your locker, just contact a teacher or administrator to help u with it. If you're getting lost, come early to school and familiarize yourself with the school. If u feel the need, get someone to help u whether it'd be a student or teacher. I have just one other thing to tell u. Asking for help or advise isn't a bad thing. It'll get u through middle school. The good news is that once finished with middle school, high school might be easier to adjust to. Just know where everything is and you'll be fine.
haha wow i was in eight grade last year! you have nothing to worry about trust me!
belive me when i say this your first day will BE FINE. and you will make friends easily. remember everyone else is feeling the same way because they are new to the school aswell. the teachers no you will be confused and you might get lost on the first day that is why they are there to help you! and dont worry about your locker if it doesnt work they will give you a new one.
grade 7 goes by SO FAST. just dont worry and have fun. =)
I was scared when I went to another school, and I didn't know a single person. I went in there and decided that to make it easier for myself I would just have to be friendly and sociable and make friends. If you are sat next to someone you don't know or something, say hi and see how they react. Mostly, they will smile and say hi back. If they don't, you know how to tell a friendly person from an unfriendly one!
Don't be scared to ask for directions. You will find someone who will help you out. If not, go into the nearest class or whatever and ask the teacher in there.
And calm down, don't get stressed out about this! You can't do anything until the day comes so I suggest you just put it to the back of your mind and have fun! And when the day does come, remember that you are bound to make tons of new friends. Think about the friends you have know and how you met them. You probably met somewhere random or at school or something, and you ended up good friends, so it is likely to happen again!
