Now you noticed they switched the time. And I havent gotten a letter or nothing from them. Its tommorow and I know im going to be a freshmen there. I know i'm on record as a student because they sent me a lunch letter for their lunches.
Maybe there late on sending the letters? My dad meant to call them today but forgot. Should He call tommorow and see whats up?
Why would they have changed the time from 5 hours to just 2 hours? What do you think I will expect when going? I'm so nervous lol.

9th grade orientation is lameee!!! if you go to alhambra high school...it's like nothing! better to call the school and make sure
relax, i was nervous last year when i was going to be a freshman, u should probably have your dad call, the best advice i can give to u about high school is find a reliable, friendly and smart upperclassman that you can talk to and ask questions to, this really helped me out a lot last year
Like me, my high school has 2 available orientation times.
Maybe it's thesame for you.
Maybe you can choose 8am-1pm or 6am-8pm.
But just to be on the safe side, go for the 8am one first, you don't have to go inside but just look outside the highschool (are there people walking around, cars etc.) and if it's like dead, then that probably means it's starting @ 6.
Call in the morning, like before 8.
Or call right now and maybe they have info on their answering machine.

I know this can be a crazy scary time for you, just like it was for me going to orientation. It was probably a typo, and they meant that is is 6pm-8pm because the 5 hours seems a little extreme for just a high school orientation. And plus, they want parents to be able to attend this, so it probably is at night. But call the school tomorrow definitely to make sure. What to expect? Expect hearing a lot of speeches from the dean, principal, also picking up your schedule, and a tour of the school. You might also meet your teachers, but you will definitely meet new friends! Talk to people and make some new friends that you will be able to hang around once school starts! Who knows, maybe they are in some of your classes
