1)make sure you are having a good breakfast without too many starches in it. 2) Find out if you are a Visual or Audio learner. This means you learn better usually one form or the other. Visually-using videos, drawings or being shown directly. Audio- you learn easier when someone Tells you. There are tests you may take to learn which you are and teachers will then be able to assist you better to your needs. 3) WHAT is distracting you? Are the classes too long and your attention span not that well. 4) Talk to you doctor, they may be able to assist you with some answers or counselor.

everyone here has given good answeres but i want to add that you should just participate and not spend the time goofing off with frieends or talking becasue every minute you spend being attentive in class is 5 less you have to spend at home trying to teach it to yourself
