Rural schools are more concerned with the problem of truancy while the core issue in urban schools is bullying.The action comittee on discipline in schools,also found that discipline issues often differ from one school and another.Each school has its peculiar set of indiscipline problems and the issues vary between those in the urban and rural areas an the situation depended on the school's surrounding.The question is how can we overcome this issues?

bullies need to be laid out flat, they need to be knocked out, they need to be beatin so bad they are in the hospital, guarentee that will solve the problem...i used to be bullied alot...it worked for me

This begins in Kindergarten and continues through 12 th grade in our district. It does work -- it teaches what our expectations of behavior are and reinforces that. I don't know what the answer is other than to keep trying. Seems to me that these things aren't consistently taught at home anymore and that's why we have problems in school.
