1. don't be scared...highschool gives you the oppurtunity to be the person you've always wanted to be
2. To make friends with upperclassmen the best way is by playing a sport your good in, joining clubs etc., and be funny and just let loose
how did you make your other friends, pretty much the same thing. also you might have classes together with the upperclassmen in electives classes such as a foreign language or P.E. (guessing your starting high school) or art. and if you want to make friends that badly join an after school club then you'll meet people of different ages.
Try joining clubs and sports. They're the easiest way to meet other people that aren't in your grade.
Just be friendly and be yourself. It's the same with making friend with anyone really. Be inviting and funny. You have no reason to be scared. I know a lot of kids are afraid of getting picked on and think having older friends will prevent this. I'm not sure if that is true or not. Be open to the idea of making friends from all grade levels.
well first relax, there is nothing to be afraid of. Just join some clubs and sports and you'll make a lot of friends, yes some upperclassmen too. Just never give in to peer pressure and drink,smoke, or use drugs to try and fit in with the upperclassmen, its not necessary in the least.
it's easy...you'll have classes with the upper classmen.i had a class with seniors when i was a freshman,.they were pretty cool...just don't go to your freshman friends saying you have senior friends or junior friends...it's just too freshman like and annoying...
