I was wondering, how were your, if you had this program, Renaissance organized? Like, what awards were given and special things did your school do to award academic achievement.
Also, if you can, give any links to an Renaissance sites that could help us prepare for Renaissance. Sites showing things that we can do, or school sites that show what others have done in the past.

Renaissance for us is field trips three times a year (one for each grading period) if you have a 3.5 G.P.A or higher. One time we went to a movie another time we went to a theme park kinda of thing, more like an arcade. Then they had fast food for lunch.
As far as how it's organized I don't know that much about it but here's what I do know. They have a list of students that are elegible hung up on the bullentin board. Then you have about a week where you can go to the office and get a wrist band if your name's on the list. In second period they call on the loud speaker to go to the buses and get away from school. It's sooooooooo much fun! Especially if all your friends can go. Hope I helped. I don't know any websites. Cunno(Sorry)
ok
At my school, the only way to make Renaissance is to make at least a 3.5 GPA, but the higher your GPA, the better the rewards are. I'm not quite sure what the rewards are this year. In past years, the rewards were things like early out for lunch or an off campus pass. Nothing too special.
In my school, you go to Renaissance if you:
Get honor roll for the marking period
Get perfect attendance for the marking period
Performed in a play
Contribuited the most help towards a fundraiser or something
Or sometimes if you just do something good, for instance 6 kids in my school helped stop a fight and got awarded to go to Renaissance.
However, my school doesn't give out rewards during it. We get bumper stickers for honor roll but that comes in the mail. I don't think you should make a big deal of it though, it's pretty dorky, it just gets you out of a few classes.
