there's different times for each type of school.
1.elementary school:wake-up 7am get home at 3-3:30pm
2.middle school: wake-up 6-6:30am get home at 2:30-3pm
3.high school: wake up 6am or earlier get home 2:15 -2:30
so there's about 7 hours in each.
i go to a private high school.
i wake up at 5:30, leave at 6:30, and get to school by 7:15. (band starts at 7:30). the school day ends at 2:55.
Often schools start around 8am and end around 2:30.
So, they'd probably get up around 6:30 and be home

My old school used to start at 9 and ends at 3:15. We have a shorted day once a week. That was so nice to be able to get up at 8 and still not be late. and yes, it's a high school.
