public - overly large school, good education, more convient, less friends.
catholic - good sized classes, same education ( possibly better because classes are smaller) lots of friends, not as good of location.
i would like to go to catholic school, but the im worried i wont like it because it's in a not as good of location ( this commute is about 20 minutes while the other is about 6 or 7.)

I think you should follow your heart. If you don't like public school, go back to catholic school. 20 minutes isn't that much of a commute, and in life we have to make sacrifices for what we want. From what I see, the only disadvantage catholic school has is that it has a slightly longer commute. If that is the case, go back to catholic school.
Of course there is also the issue about the 'culture shock'. I went to a mission school for all of my life, and when I went to a secular Junior College, things were different, and I had a hard time adjusting. But I only had above average grades, insufficient for the entry requirements the other colleges warrented, and I had no choice. You on the other hand, do have a choice. So do what is best for you. If your parents can afford it, go with what you feel is best.
im trying to find a school too, different situation though.
anyway...i tihnk catholic...if that's the school u were wishing u were at when sitting in public...then i think the extra ten minutes shouldn't matter.
public might be more linient though, u might have less rules and stuff, but watever if your friends are worth it i think catholic...
