I'm sorry to have to give you this advice because I don't think it's what you want to hear... to our family education is the most important thing. As a young person, your only responsibility is to do well in school. If you are unable to cope with the schedule that you currently have, you will have to cut out some of your extracurricular activities like sports or marial arts. If you did not have martial arts from 8:30pm - 10pm you could do homework or even better still, have some downtime. You really can't do it all - there are only so many hours in a day. Your classes sound like they will need a lot of your attention and it is important for your future to do well. Don't try to do it all --- right now you must focus on your classes.
change your sched man.. dont try to be a martyr
what would i do*********************
You should probably drop out of one or two of your AP classes and into a regular class. I think with AP classes you are supposed to expect around an hour of homework a night per class. With four AP classes that is 4 hours of homework right there, not to mention your other classes. On nights before quizzes and tests expect to study more. The weeks leading up to the AP exam expect to study more.
If you can handle going to school and studying all the time, go for it. Be prepared to do nothing but study. You can eat while studying. You can take quick showers and sleep only a few hours a night. I know people who have done 5 AP classes and survived. Just don't expect to have any social life. Be sure to work ahead as much as you can.
Compare all of your syllabi and note when papers are due. If two papers are due on the same day you should have one done early.
school is more important than the extracurricular activities. if it's that much of a hassle, i suggest you drop out of either martial arts or whatever sport that's taking 3 hours after school.
i think u should just drop out n get a GED ... thatz what im doin this year.. i hate school
get over it my day goes from 5:30- 7:30 and i am taking AP classes in a private prep school. Plus I live an hour away from my school so i dont get home untill 8:30 then i have to do hw. Get over it everyone has the same problem
energy drink?
Okay, if you cant sleep, you should go to the doctor. they could give you sleeping pills for that problem. try taking yoga to relieve stress, instead of martial arts. you might have to quit sports, even though you like them. Why cant you eat? stress? if that is it try deep breathing, it calms you, and eat more. My schedule this year is not as bad as yours .. but im a freshman and in all accelerated classes, except math.lol hate it.Or, if you cant handle the situation, you might have to drop the accelerated classes.
there is no such thing as AP geometry. i think ur school just made it up. its really not that bad of a schedule and its a good mix that is bearable in terms of reading/hw... but youve got your sport and stuff... so. you should probably drop APUSH or... AP chem.. or a dual enrollment...
i would DEFINITELY keep martial arts and the sport. do not lose them.
