I really think I have a short attention span or something, 'cause I can't stay focused on my subjects and am easily distracted, probably 'cause I draw a lot, and with anything that can be used to draw with/on.
What do you people do to be good students? Would energy drinks or vitamins or something like that help?
Answers:
First of all try and get more sleep, that should help with the yawning problem. Get at least 8 hours a night and try to keep up with it and be consistent. That is something very essential for paying attention in class. Secondly, I recommend you have a good breakfast and eat a meal which combines carbs and protein for example egg on toast. mmmm. And a glass of orange juice. Drink water regularly, maybe you could bring some into your classes to refresh yourself. I would avoid energy drinks because if used constantly they can get end up with you being dependant on them. Also they may after a long time have little effect on your body. Use them during exams etc when you need to be alert. Also my little secret...raisins :D
If you are easily distracted in your classes and outside of classes, you may have ADD. You should get checked out.
Good luck!
find a way to try to make subjects easy and interesteing so you can stay focused on them thats what I do
Honey you may have ADHD or ADD. Talk to your doctor and he'll help you get straightened out so you can be a better student.
