get yourself a day planner and write all your assignments in it. If you don't have money, print out a calendar at www.printable-calendar.com and keep it in your notebooks. That's what I do for my college assignments.
You are going to have to get used to being more responsible for yourself. Teachers, as you get older, are going to be less likely to remind you of your tasks. Make a more diligent effort to remember.
Good luck!
get a dry erase calendar and hang in your room and mark all important things down. place it in a spot that you will see every day
I seem to do that too.. lol. but what helps me is keeping a folder for all my assignments that i have to finish. put the folder somewhere you can see it when you get in your bookbag. or write everything down on a piece of paper and put it in the front of your binder, or even make copies of this list and put them everywhere...
if you really forget, write it on your hand or program the assignments into your phone calander and have an alarm go off everyday until your done.
Hope this helps!
good luck!

do you write in your planner as soon as you are given the assignment? or write it after the notes for that day in class and then highlight it and you can move it to your daytimer later.
it is not unusual to have an adjustment period going into jr high. not because it is that much harder but because people are often moving into bigger schools and also people try to frighten you half to death about how much harder it is. also there is the old hormone cutting in thing which can play havoc on the brain.
Write your assignments on your arm/hand in pen. It always works.
Forgetting assignments, maybe you are nervous about something?
The sure-fire way would be to make a habit of something. Set an alarm clock at some time, and whenever the alarm goes off, read your notes/planner/etc. Every single day. Do it even on weekends and during vacation. You'll do fine.
