I need this quote explained, "It is easier to go down the mountain than up, but the view from the top is best.

Question:

Answers:
The jist of it to me is that it's easier to go the easier way ( down the mountain) however it's not worth as much as taking the long way up the mountain, putting in the time and effort, because then the reward is greater.
You shouldn't take the easy road in life.. if you take the more difficult road, it will be more rewarding.
You have to work hard to succeed (make it to the top), but your effort will be rewarded (great view).
It might be harder to face and deal with a particular challenge in life (the mountain) If you deal with this difficult issue in your life and overcome it. (you reach the top of the mountain) You can look back on what you've accomplished and be proud of what you did.
okay...
so you are climbing up mount everst... every step up the mountain kills, sucks lifegiving oxygen right out of your body, the higher you go the greater your pain with each strangle-breathed step...

it would be so easy to turn around and go back down... to go back where you know there is life giving oxygen... but you would never know what you could have done, you would never know how far you could have gone if you just didn't give in...

so you don't, you keep climbing, knowing that you may die for going farther up this path...

and finally after hundreds of hours climbing, while you struggle just to breath you reach the summit... the top of the world... higher than airplanes fly and you look down at the majesty of the world and you know that you have made it.

that is the idea...

now consider that as a lesson to apply to life in general... just don't quit because it is uncomfortable... there are rewards to be had for perseverence... go get them...
To be or not to be
There is no question
To suffer the slings and arrows of outragous fortune
Or to take arms against the seas of trouble by opposing in them . To sleep perchance to dream ah! thats the rub.
:Man did not fall up the mountain."

He scratched, he clawed, he studied, he worked, he used all his skills, he reached out for his dream, he took action on his dream and stood proudly at the top of the mountain looking over his accomplishment.
