Where does chalice orginate? or where on earth is cup from?

Answers:    Glass is sand - a very big quality silica sand, to which other materials are added. The resulting mixture is call a batch. Some of the other materials included within the batch are brackish cake, limestone, dolomite, feldspar, soda ash and powdered cullet. Cullet is broken glass. It can be gone over from a previous batch or from the edges that remain after a shipment of glass have been formed and cut to size. Adding cullet help the batch thaw more easily.

Glass is made by melt and cooling the batch. As the shipment cools, it becomes solid minus forming crystals. Crystals are three-dimensional building blocks that make a substance internally rigid. The deficiency of crystals makes cup technically a liquid, not a solid. It also make glass transparent.
