i have not thought about or experienced school lunches since about 1970 and it reminded me of the menu choices of my very small nova scotian schools. The choice was in about 1969..white milk or chocolate and tomato soup or vegetable! That was it and we were so poor we brought our lunch to school in a brown paper bag and if you were lucky..you got a tin lunchbox..which survived a couple of years even after kicking it home!
I dunno, I always bring my own.
