What does the quote, "save a balloon, pop a collar", mean and where does it come from?

Question:

Answers:
i think it started with the quote, "save a horse, ride a cowboy" but they changed it up to say instead of popping a balloon, pop your collar
since some losers like to pop the collars on their shirts
it's just an expression. i have no idea where it came from, but ever since some people have been popping their collars from that song from last year, that quote came to be.
