You've never tried to eat horse poop. There will never be an issue of your wanting to sneak around finding horse poop to eat.
Heroin is illegal (and unsafe, and addictive, etc.). If you never try it, you will never know whether or not you like it. Leave heroin in the same category as horse poop. Never try it and don't run the risk of becoming addicted.
Jail time and death are worse reasons not to try heroin.
It also helped that my son's mom overdosed on heroin in 1994 when he was eight years old.
