It sounds pretty optimistic for "The Necro"...
I take it to mean that there is no clear line between what is dead and what is not.
It's almost as if he's saying the dead are just laying down for some time... and it doesn't necessarily stay that way...
And he's also saying that by some strange miracle, we might (as a society?) be able to overcome death in the future.
Or perhaps erase the line which divides us from the dead...
