go check out snippets.com ----thousands of quotes. you won't have time to read them all before you make to the NY Yankees. Here's one for ya. The future belongs to the people who believe in the beauty of their dreams.. GO FOR IT!!!
only those who risk going too far will ever know how far they can go
Take a look at the story of Rick Ankiel from the St. Louis Cardinals. He was a pitcher but all of a sudden he started throwing wildly. He was sent back to the minors for more training. When he came back as a pitcher his fear of throwing wild overtook him and he just couldn't get it right. Tony Larusa stood by him even though the fans had given up. He has recently come back again as an outfielder and is now hitting home runs and making catches that are wowwing the fans. And if he needs to throw a ball to get someone out he has speed and distance that is phenomenal. Don't ever give up on your dream. If you are in a slump think of it as a time of learning. When you get through this you will be a stronger player and person. Hang in there. Slumps don't last forever. I don't even know you but I believe you can do it. I will see you in the future on the TV playing baseball in the Majors. If you want it bad enough and are willing to work hard and don't give up, YOU CAN DO IT!!
The spirit, the will to win, and the will to excel are the things that endure. These qualities are so much more important than the events that occur.
