Answers:
this phrase originated at woodstock, crows were attracted to the crowds leftover food and descended at night to feast upon the organic fruits and vegetarian treats left behind by the retreating hippies, a small group of junior crows broke away from the adult crows and began gathering leftover spliffs soon they had assembled a full joint and were passing it around. soon several crows were stoned and started giggling and talking sht, one of the crows got really paranoid so the rest sent him round to the garage to get some biscuits but he wouldnt go alone so this other crow had to go with him. but then the first crow started freaking out when he hit the fresh air so the second crow called the other crows on his mobile but even though third crow answered he said he couldnt come pick them up cause he was stoned too now, second crow asked third crow to walk down but third crow would come cause he was a complete ahole and wouldnt help second crow out even after second crow saved his a55 on the end of term dissertation and stayed up till 3am working on it when his own was finished and helped him fix his exhaust 2 days later. second crows never helping third crow again that lazy bstrd wont lift a finger for his mates.
The saying originated in the mid-20th century in Austrailia. Crows are an annoyance to sheep farmers in that they kill and eat newborn lambs. Farmers used to thrown stones at crows to scare them off and keep them away. So the phrase "stone the crows" developed as an expression of annoyance.
