Man and his pride has been the downfall of great warriors, presidents, and even spiritual leaders. Feeling good about oneself and taking pride in oneself is not a bad thing. But Ego is a hungry beast. Never satiated, ego is always looking for things to feed on. Ego is the enemy of humility, honesty, and love. Ego has the potential to destroy love relationships, as it thinks only of itself and the need to feed. Ego is never wrong. Ego is confidence and self love gone awry. Too much of a good thing can definitely be bad -- epsecially with Ego!
